Dr. Ian Macdonald
Dr Macdonald completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2003. He has been providing comprehensive eye care in the Waterloo region since graduation. He is an avid golfer(scratch), skier and hockey player. In his spare time Dr Macdonald can be found at the rink watching his 3 kids, or spending time with his family at the golf course.

Sherry Kanhoye
Sherry Kanhoye started off in the Optical Industry in the year 2000, as a casual part time sales associate. She attended Seneca College furthering her career, dedicating her passion in helping people see their best. She became a Managing Licensed Optician in 2012. As a mother of 2, she’s starting a new career chapter in 2025 with Dr. Johal and associates and can’t wait to see what’s next for all of us within this great community.
Claudia
Claudia is a graduate of McMaster University. She has been in retail management since 1998 working for Gap and LensCrafters. She has been in optical management as Dr Johal’s Practice Manager since 2015.
Claudia enjoys making patients feel welcome at the clinic and looks forward to helping patients choose eyewear that will suit their needs and reflect their individual style.
Her passions include:
cooking, baking, reading, gardening as well as spending time with friends and family.
