Scope of Practice
Our board certified doctors of optometry are trained to provide complete eye care. Should you have problems with your vision, need a new pair of glasses or contacts, or have an eye injury or infection, our doctors have the experience you need. We offer routine eye exams, which include a pressure test for glaucoma and eye health exam. Many diseases have no outward symptoms, so regular checkups are important. We also welcome pediatric and low vision patients.
You don't have to look any further than our office for fast professional service in high quality prescription eye glasses. Our modern optical lets you get your glasses the next day in most cases. We have frames to meet any style or budget. Our opticians are always available to help with any needs or questions concerning your glasses.
Contact lenses are a specialty including those types that are hard to fit. Our office routinely fits disposable, extended wear, and tinted lenses along with lenses for those persons who have astigmatism or wear bifocals.
Your First Visit
On your first visit you can expect to spend about an hour in our office (1 1/2 hours for a contact lens fit). You'll undergo testing using state-of-the-art computerized equipment. Your eyes will be dilated, so if you've had problems driving while dilated before, please bring someone with you to help. Also, bring your most current pair of glasses or contact lenses, names of medications you're taking, and insurance company information.
